The 450-Hour Pilates Teacher Training is an online professional training for anyone who wants to learn more about Pilates. Whether you want to work-out in the comfort of your own home and have purchased some of the apparatus or you are a fitness enthusiast/instructor who would like to add Pilates training to your teaching arsenal, this cost effective online program is for you.
Signing up early is the best way to guarantee a seat in the 450-hour Pilates teacher training course. Program space is limited in order to ensure high-touch live zoom calls, as I want to personally coach each of you on the calls and aid you in growing your knowledge of Pilates. When you register for the 450-hour Pilates Teacher Training, you get access to the advanced teacher training content right away.
Begin your studies IMMEDIATELY, the moment you enroll. Start Module 1 coursework (it’s deep). It’s a good idea to watch all of Module I films a couple of times to glean information and download the Module 1 packet before scheduling a live call.

450 hours is what the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) recommends for all teacher training programs in order to take the certification test. Don’t worry, you will have up to 9 months to complete your hours if you wish to take the test to become certified with the PMA. There are other broad-based certification companies such as the American Council on Exercise (ACE) that are highly respected that do not require the specific hours… only your knowledge, I will be giving you information about various certifications during this course.
Anyone with a desire to learn about Pilates training methods and/or who wishes to teach Pilates.
Of course! And we have amazing Pilates, yoga and fitness enthusiasts who do just that. Fulfilling the graduation requirements are required to earn your certificate. You may choose to forego or delay certification at this time and simply enjoy this deep, enriching experience.
It is up to you to finalize your personal schedule. Our recommendation is to carve out 2-3 hours per day (60 – 90 hours per month) on average for the duration of your training. We are not as concerned about how much time you spend, rather, what you learn. Some of you will finish in as little as 5 months, others will take closer to 9 months. It is important to stay on track and study for a couple of hours most days. Schedule a call for more details.
To graduate from the 450-Hour program you must:
- Complete the final teaching Practicum by sending in a 50-min video of you teaching a themed Pilates Mat class, Reformer class, Tower/Cadillac class and Wunda Chair class.
- Complete and pass the Written Exams (It is open book, you may use your manuals, handouts and notes.)
- Complete all journaling exercises, quizzes, and homework outlined in our Zoom calls.
You will be well on your way to becoming a Pilates teacher extraordinaire! Upon completion of this course, you will also receive a 450-hour certificate of completion.
Please know that our training is non-refundable. In order for us to keep our quality and focus in our programs we cannot issue refunds, all sales are final. We ask that our students be fully committed before enrolling in our training. The training is non-refundable and yet, if after the first module test you find the training to be too challenging, and decide not to continue, the full amount of tuition can be applied to a week-long personal fitness arts retreat to include daily hiking, yoga, massage, aqua fitness, line-dancing and Pilates that we can schedule here in sunny Tucson, Arizona. This option is only available if you have opted to pay in full AND only after taking the exam after Module 1. Once you start Module 2, this option is no longer available.
